Catalogue note
A double-hemisphere chart with an engraved cartouche, the colour applied later and rather freely. Watermarked laid paper with visible chain lines. Sold unframed.

Central fold as issued, with a 3 in. separation at the lower edge, repaired verso with archival tissue. Toning overall and some foxing to the margins. The later colour has oxidised where green was used, with resulting paper embrittlement along two coastlines. Trimmed close at the upper margin.
