Catalogue note
Each with an acanthus-cast stem issuing three scrolling branches hung with faceted drops and prism pendants. The gilding is mercury gilding, worn through to the bronze at the handling points, which is correct for the date and is not a defect.

Two drops replaced on the first candelabrum and four on the second, the replacements a good but not exact match in colour. One branch on the second has been re-soldered at the socket, the repair visible. Rewiring has not been carried out; these have never been converted and remain as candelabra.
