Catalogue note
The body of amber metal, iridised to a peacock lustre and trailed with a looping organic decoration in a contrasting metal. Unmarked, as is usual. The lustre is strongest at the shoulder and fades at the foot, which is characteristic of the process rather than a sign of cleaning.

No chips, cracks or restoration. Two very minor surface scratches to the foot rim, visible only in raking light. The pontil is ground and polished.
