Catalogue note
Seated in dhyanasana on a double-lotus base, the robes incised with a floral diaper, traces of cold gold and pigment to the face. The base plate is sealed and has not been opened; the department does not open sealed consecration deposits and says so.

Gilding worn at the shoulders and knees, consistent with handling and devotional wear. Losses to the pigment of the face. One attribute to the left hand missing. The base plate is sealed and intact, with the double-vajra visible. Not opened.
